Bihar CHO Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Option 1:
     • B.Sc. (Nursing) with a completed six-month Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from a recognized institute (approved by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council) for the academic year 2020 onwards.
   • Option 2:
     • Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with a completed six-month Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from a recognized institute (approved by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council) for the academic year 2020 onwards.
2. Clarification on Academic Year:
   • Eligible candidates include those who completed their 4th year B.Sc. Nursing or 2nd year Post B.Sc. Nursing in the 2019-2020 academic year or later and have successfully passed the course.
3. Alternative Eligibility:
   • B.Sc. (Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing), or General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) candidates who have completed the Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) through IGNOU or State Public Health/Medical Universities following the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare curriculum set by the Government of India (specified for CHO eligibility).

 Bihar CHO Salary/Pay Scale Details:

• Total Monthly Salary: ₹40,000
  • Fixed Remuneration: ₹32,000 per month
  • Performance Linked Payment: ₹8,000 per month (based on performance and various health indices)
